I had to make 3 trips to Home Depot before they were able to match the correct color paint for the door frames.
The first trip, they had trouble with the computer and I had to wait about 25 minutes and the 1st sample was too light.
The second sample was too dark and then he ran out of the correct number of the paint to match the color. So, I had to leave and go to another Home Depot, which was 12 miles away and finally on the 3rd trip I was able to get the correct color of paint to match the door frames. I also purchased another sand block and small paint brush.
Before I started painting I had to use a sand block to sand the scratches and dings on the door frames. Then I wiped and cleaned the frames real good with the bottle of spray solution. I wiped the frames dry and then painted them with an oil semi-gloss paint.
Worked 8 hours,
Jeff
