01.31.11 Rome, Cartersville and Stake Office

On Monday I went to Rome, Cartersville and The Stake Office to do the following work orders and maintenance in the buildings.

On my way to Rome I stopped at Lowe's the purchase the concrete chalking to repair the sidewalk issues.

FBJ28814 My plans were to repair the side walk issue, at the Rome building but the rain did not allow me to repair the cracks with chalking.

I checked the HVAC systems through out the Rome building and all are working properly with heat. (completed)


Cartersville Building:

FBJ29299 Checked the thermostat and it was working properly with heat. And also checked all others in the building. (completed)

FBJ29284 I checked the leak in the member custodial closet and it has been repaired by Michael Whitfield. (completed)

FBJ29147 I had to finish the patching on the sheet rock in the font area on the women's side by sanding it and putting a second coat of sheet rock mud and let it dry and had to sand it again, but there was no paint in the shed to match the color of the room. I will complete the job after I purchase the correct paint color to match the walls in the room.

FBJ29287 The water at the fountain by the outside of the kitchen was very cloudy and I had to open the valve all the way and flushed the line out. The water is coming out the fountain clear and is working properly. (completed)

FBJ13587 The concrete had a crack that I repaired with concrete chalking by the storefront near the shed. (completed)

Checked the lights in the attic and found no problems all are working properly. (completed)

No work order number was received; I noticed in two of the classrooms there was a hole in the wall and I patched them with sheetrock mud. (completed)


Stake Office Building: Did my normal walk through the building.

Checked the door locks and tighten the screws and lubricated them, all are closing and locking properly. (completed)

Checked all the lights in the building, all are working good, no burnt bulbs. (completed)

Checked all the plumbing in the restroom, kitchen and hot water heater all are working properly and found no leaks. (completed)

01.28.11 Acworth

Went to Acworth on Friday to do the following work orders and maintenance in the building.

FBJ29321 I chalked the cracks in some of the sidewalks that were over a half inch wide. I need to get more chalking to finish the cracks on the sidewalks that are not done.

The ice melt damaged the top surface of the concrete by the north entry and will have to be repaired by a contractor.

FBJ29202 Checked the junction box to see if there was any broken wires and didn't find any.
Worked on the switch and volume control for the PA mic, took it apart and checked for broken or loose connection and all looked good, but didn't have any power going to it.
Worked on the cable TV and PA mic, took it apart and checked it for broken or loose wires and didn't fine any broken.
I checked the plug in outlet for the mic on the floor and found no problem. These are all in connection with the PA mic not working, the outlet is not getting any power to it for it to work.

FBJ29316 I changed the front cover on the thermostat control in the bishop's office and the heat is now working. (completed)

FBJ29298 Chris Curby and I checked the heat in the Bishop's office and it was working properly. (completed)

Checked the attic lights and all are working properly. (completed)

Changed two fluorescent bulbs in the hallway that were burnt. (completed)

Touched up the woodwork with stain on the door that had chips and scratches on the bottom. (completed)

On Thursday I went to Cedartown and Buchanan buildings to do the following work orders and maintenance.

FBJ13572 Repaired and patched the hole with sisal in the vestibule on the back of the building. Once the glue dries it should be the same color. (completed)

Checked all the temperature controls through out the building and all are working properly with heat. (completed)

FBJ29194 Repaired the wide area vacuum cleaner with a new cord. I had to put a female and male plug in to attach both of the cords together. (completed)

Checked all the lights in the hallway, classrooms and chapel through out the building, all are working properly (completed)

Checked all the plumbing in the restrooms and kitchen through out the building, found no leaks. (completed)


From Cedartown I went to Buchanan to do the following work orders below:

Adjusted the strike plates on four of the doors for them to close tightly and they are working properly. (completed)
