09.30.11 Mars Hill

On Friday I went to Mars Hill to do the following maintenance work in the building.

The parking lot and the perimeter lights outside are all working properly.

The won-doors in the building are opening, closing and latching properly.

I had to tighten the screws on the legs of a few classroom tables for them to be tightly secured to the bottom of the table.

The baby changing tables were good and secured to the walls.

I checked the thermostat control through out the building and the outside units and they are blowing cold air and sound good.

I checked the vacuum cleaners and they are all working properly with good suction.

I checked the pulpit control, fuse, satellite and sound system and they sound good.

The lights in the chapel and cultural hall were all lit up and working good.

I checked the basketball goals by using the switch to lower it down and raise them back up and they are working properly.

I had to adjust the strike plate on one of the exterior doors for it to shut tight. All other exterior doors are opening and shutting tight and properly.

I checked all restrooms in the building, no leaks found with the plumbing and the toilets flushed good.

The appliances and the plumbing in the kitchen are working properly and no leaks are found.

I replaced a new battery in the clock in the clerk's office, it now has the correct time.

On Friday I went to Buchanan to go the following work orders and maintenance work in the building.

FBJ32742 This building has natural gas (# 1019) and the underground metallic gas piping. (completed)

I checked the thermostat control and the outside A/C units and they were working properly, blowing cold air and sound good outside.

FBJ32818 I checked the problem with the clerk's office phone and looked into several areas, and found a loose connection on the phone line on the bottom inside of the box. I tested it after I repaired the loose connection by calling out and it seems to be working properly. (completed)

I tested the outlets through out the building all tested good.

The kitchen appliances in the kitchen are working properly and no leaks found with the plumbing.
