10/29/10 Marietta

On Friday I went to Marietta to the Cunningham Branch to perform the following work orders.

28589 Installed a new tithing slip holder by the clerk's office. (completed)

The clerk's office door was not closing all the way for it to lock, had to adjust and file the strike plate for the door to shut properly. (completed)

FBJ28800 The keys in the clerk's office did not fit any of the closet door locks in the rooms (A thru D series) in the building. (not completed)
I called Chris Carter to let him know the situation about the keys and he said he would get in touch with the Bishop about the problem. I was asked to complete the day with other work through out the building that needed to be done.
W-D40 was sprayed into the lock of the doors (A1), (A4), (B3), (B4), (C2), (C4), (D3) and (D6) to be lubricated. (completed)

Adjusted the closer on the cylinder to allow the doors to shut tight in the Relief Society room. (completed)

The primary room had a burnt light bulb and was replaced with a new fluorescent light bulb. (completed)

Tightened the outlet cover and put child proof plugs into the receptacle in the nursery room. (completed)

Touched up a few doors with stain in the hallway and the chapel doors as needed. (completed)

10/28/10 Atlanta / Dallas

On Thursday I was on my way to Atlanta and received a phone call to go to Dallas to pick up the new clock that needed to be replaced in the Atlanta Chapel and a tithing slip holder that is needed in the Cunningham branch for tomorrow.

28767 The new clock was installed in the chapel with a new battery. (completed)
28788 Install inspection card holder in the elevator was not done. The card holder needs to be ordered. (not completed)

28765 The chairs had to be unstacked in the chapel for them to get touched up with stain. The chairs needed to be stained on the four legs, the back and the sides. After the stain was dry they were re-stacked back against the wall in the chapel. Time allowed me to get about 55 done and less than half not completed.

The four doors in the chapel were touched up with stain, had scratches and chips. (completed)

28763 The man lift was not in the building for the trim and speakers to be repaired in the cultural hall and chapels as needed. (not completed)

28765 The chairs in the chapel were touched up with stain. Time only allowed for 55 chairs to be done and around less than half did not get completed.





Four doors in the chapel were touched up with stain, had scratches and chips. (completed)

10/27/10 Dallas

On Wednesday I went to Dallas and worked by myself and was not able to use the man lift, to replace lights in the cultural hall and chapel as needed. (not completed)

Adjusted the strike plates on the outside doors through out the building to close properly. Also tightened up all the locks on the doors as needed. (completed)

13595 Joint compound was used to patch the wall around the light plate in room 104. The wall was sanded after the joint compound was dry at the end of the day. (completed)

13605 The glass on the fire extinguishers were not replaced. I found some glass in the shed, but it was not the correct size to fit. Need glass for both fire extinguishers, the size to order is 6" Wide X 20.5" Long. (not completed)

Checked and tested the outlets through out the building and tightened the cover as needed. (completed)

Checked the thermostats through out the building and all were working good. (completed)

Time allowed, so I touched up a few doors with stain that had scratches and chips. (completed)

10/26/10 Carrollton Work Completed

On Tuesday Chris and I went to Carrollton to perform the following work orders.

Checked and tested all the outlets through out the building and they were working good. A few of the outlet covers needed to be tightened.

Touched up wood work on several doors with stain through out the building in the hall way.

Using the man lift, 3 new ballasts were replaced and 14 fluorescent light bulbs were changed in cultural hall. Checked the lights in the chapel and they were all working properly.

Checked all doors through out the building and adjusted the strike plates on 6 of the outside doors for them to close properly.

Worked 8 hours to complete work.

Checked the outlets through out the building and all tested good and tightened a few covers.

10/25/10 Powder Springs work completed

On Monday I went to Powder Springs to perform the following work orders.

Checked and repaired interior lights as needed through out the building. The interior light in the cultural hall was opened and to use a ladder to reach the cover to close it.

Checked all outlets through out the building and all tested good. Had to tighten the covers on a few of them.

Checked all thermostats through out the building and they were all working good.

Checked sound system and podium in the chapel and no problems were found.

Touched up the woodwork with stain on the bottom of a few doors in the building, they were chipped and scratched.

Worked 4 hours to complete all work.
