11.30.11 Fayetteville

On Wednesday I went to Newnan to pick up some supplies and then went to Fayetteville to do the following work orders in the building.

In the Newnan building I had to put new screws that were missing on the cultural hall and chapel doors. I tightened all the screws on the locks and added new screws where needed. I also adjusted the strike plates for the doors for them to shut properly.

I cleaned up the bottom of the stairs in the Fayetteville building and Jon asked me to put all the things that I removed upstairs.

There was a light bulb burnt in the attic and I replaced it with a new bulb.

FBJ33149 The traverse rod was jammed in the chapel shades on the southeast window. I had to get on a ladder and unjam the string that was tangles in the rod to unjam it. I also had to anchor the draw strings to the walls that open and close the curtains. (completed)

The draw string was also hanging loose on the opposite side of the chapel and I had to anchor them down to the wall, so the curtain will open up properly.

FBJ33157 I took the light covers off in the hallways to clean out the bugs and debri. And put the covers back on. I had to use a 6 foot ladder to each the lights. (completed)

I noticed in the hall way a light was out. I had to change the ballast for it to come on and work properly.

worked 8 hours,

Jeff

11.29.11 Fayetteville

On Tuesday I went to Fayetteville to do the following work orders in the building.

Jon and I went to Home Depot to purchase some supplies, so I would be able to do the work orders in the building.

FBJ33195 I had to remove the old inserts in the toilets out of both women's restrooms and put them back into the box for Jon to return them to Sloan. I had to replace and install the two new Sloan Flushmate inserts. I also had to switch the flush lever off the old insert to the new one. I had to take the water line off to remove the tank and remove 3 bolts off the back of the tank and then lift the back of the bowl off the toilet and change the gaskets and put everything back together. (completed)

FBJ30266 I had to re-attach the grill in the 2nd overflow of the cultural hall that was knocked loose. I repaired the bent areas on the vent to straighten it out and replaced it back on the wall. (completed)

FBJ33155 I had to readjust the door cylinders through the building in the primary room, cultural hall and the hallways for them to shut slower, so they would not shut too loudly. (completed)

The perimeter double doors to the side of the building was dragging and I had to adjust it so it would open and close properly.
I also sprayed all the perimeter door locks and hinges with WD40.

worked 8 hours,

Jeff

11.28.11 Newnan

On Monday I went to Newnan to do some painting in the building.

The mother's room needed a second coat of paint. I had to patch a few holes in the walls with joint compound and let it dry, then I had to sand it down smoothly and wipe down the walls real good to clean the dust off. I trimmed it out with a paint brush around the window, door frame, thermostat, all the corners on the ceiling, door stop, couple of switches and the wood trim in the center of the walls. I finished painting the walls using a roller to complete the room.

The sacrament room also needed a second coat of paint. I had to patch a few holes in the walls with joint compound and let it dry, then I had to sand it down smoothly and wipe down the walls real good to clean the dust off. I trimmed it out with a paint brush around both door frames, all the corners on the ceiling, couple of switches, soap dispenser and paper towel holder and the wood trim in the center of the walls. I finished painting the walls using a roller to complete the room.
