11.09.11 Newnan

On Wednesday I went to Newnan to do some painting in the building.

There was two big round spots that were peeling on the sheetrock in room 108. I had to take my putty knife to cut around the circle to cut the old paint out. There was a couple corners that were cracking and I had to cut the old mud out with a putty knife. In both areas I had to use a sand block to sand it down real good and then mud the two bad spots that were peeling and the corners that were cracked. After that I sealed it with primer sealer and painted them.

I had to tape the wood trim around the room and had to repair screws that were bulging out the sheetrock. Also patched a few holes around the room on the walls, then I had to sand and seal it with primer sealer. Once it was dry I had to do some trim work with a paint brush around the wood trim, door and window frame and the top of the wall around the ceiling. Then I used the roller to complete painting the walls in room 108 with navajo white paint.

In the Mother's room I was asked to take down the caulk board and put it in the shed outside. There was a big piece of sheet rock that was torn and peeling, I took my knife to cut around it, sand it with the sand block and then I had to mud the area and sand it again for it to be smooth.

The door in the serving area had paint that was bubbled up and was peeling. I took my knife to cut out the bad area and I had to sand it down and mud it with joint compound.

Worked 8 hours,

Jeff
