04.29.11 Rome

On Friday I went to Rome to do the following work orders and maintenance in the building.

Ms. Mary ask me to take a picture of the tree that was down in front of the church that fell from the storm.

I also took a picture of the church and didn't see any damages from the storm on the outside of the building.

As I was walking through the church I noticed the classroom table leg needed to be repaired and I went in the shed and found an extra table leg to replace it. If anyone needs an extra table leg there is two in the shed in Rome.

FBJ29816 I had to repair four ceiling tiles one with the smoke detector on it, two that were stained and one with a sprinkler head on it in front of the bishop office. (completed)

In the cultural hall I had to use the giant ladder to change out six high light fluorescent bulbs.

FBJ29817 I had to repair the frame and had to replace the light cover in the hall way light that was missing across from room 104. I had to go to Lowe's to purchase a light cover and had to measure and cut it to fit the frame. (completed)

All the lights in the chapel were working good.

Lubricated the pulpit control and checked the fuse, satellite and sound system and they all sounded good.

I checked all the plumbing in the restrooms through out the building and found no leaks.
As I was leaving the light in the men's restroom started flickering and it went out , so I had to change the fluorescent light bulb.

Worked 8 hours

On Thursday I went to Cedartown to do the following work orders and maintenance in the building.

I had to take the cover off of the exhaust fan in the men's restroom and found a loose connection on the plug in, that I had to repair for the motor to work properly.

The nob on the timer for the exhaust fan in the women's restroom was stripped and I had to put a new nob to repair it. The fan is now working properly.

I checked the thermostat controls through out the building and they are working properly blowing cool air.

Looked and Listened to the outside units for any abnormal conditions and they seemed to be performing properly with cool air.

I repaired one of the classroom table legs with new screws in the cultural hall that was broken. I checked all other tables and tighten the legs as needed that were loose.

FBJ28813 The curb needs to be grounded down level with the sidewalk.

FBJ29802 There were no problems found with the versamatic vacuum cleaner. When using the vacuum cleaner attachments the beater bar stops turning and once you put the attachment hose back into the vacuum cleaner the beater bars will start turning again. (completed)
