04.08.11 Twin Oaks

On Friday I went to the Twin Oaks building to do the following work.

I had to do some landscaping in the back of the parking lot of the church. There was a bunch of weeds and briars that had ground into the silt fence that I had to cut off to get to the stakes. The stakes were about 4 foot apart and I had to dig about 9 inches deep around each stake to be able to pull them out of the ground. I had to take the wire off the top and bottom that continued to the silt fence that was on each stake to pull the silt fence out of the ground. There were lots of roots going through the wire that held the fence down and made it tough to pull up and out of the ground. I had to use the shovel to cut the roots out of the fence to be able to pull it out.

Time allowed me to smooth out the biggest pile of dirt/mulch in the back of the church. I had to use the wheel barrow to load the dirt to move it to the front around the drain and worked the dirt pile back until it was smooth.

Worked 8 hours
