05.31.11 Cunningham & Powder Springs

Went to Cunningham and Powder Springs to do the following work orders and maintenance in the buildings.

In Cunningham the electrical circuit for the foyer lights were not working. I checked both switches and there was a loose connection on one of the wires on the switch. I put the switches back together and tested the fixtures and they had power.

After testing the fixtures, the lights still did not come on because all the bulbs were burnt. I had to go to Home Depot and purchase 8 U channel bulbs.

The lights are now working properly in the front foyer and the front entrance in the Cunningham building.

As I drove up to the Powder Springs building I notice the pickets on the fence had fallen out. I repaired the pickets back into the fence.

FBJ30004 I changed the 50' cord on the wide isle vacuum cleaner and added another cord on one of the smaller vacuum cleaners. I tested all three and they are working properly. (completed)

FBJ29859 I verified that the mulch was done - Southern yard.

FBJ30067 I took apart the third urinal to the right, but couldn't figure out what the problem was, so I put it back together and noticed it is not getting water back to the value for it to flush properly. Need to get a plumber to check it out.

The kitchen appliances; the stove, refrigerator and microwave were all working properly.

The lights in the chapel and cultural hall were all lit and working properly.

Lubricated the pulpit control and checked the fuse, satellite and sound system and they all sounded good.

FBJ29996 I noticed the stage curtain on the top is now torn on both sides. Needs to be repaired.

05.27.11 Dallas

On Friday I went to Dallas to do the following work orders in the building.

I had to find and repair the loose connection on the two ballasts in the hallways and now they are working properly.

The lights in the chapel and cultural hall are all working properly, no burnt bulbs were found.

Lubricated the pulpit control and checked the fuse, satellite and sound system and they are working properly and sound good.

I tightened the screws on the changing tables to the wall as needed.

I checked all the plumbing in the restrooms in the building and found no problems or leaks.

FBJ29558 I had to take the old locks off the cabinet doors and then I installed 36 new locks on the cabinets in rooms 104 and 105. I placed the keys in the bishop's office. (completed)

05.26.11 Carrollton

On Thursday I went to Carrollton to do the following work orders and maintenance in the building.

FBJ29927 I cut down two of the old redtip trees along the right side of the parking lot along the wooden fence and also the 3 evergreen trees along the back parking lot that were dead. (completed)

I had to tighten the screws to the wall to secure the changing tables as needed.

Checked the thermostat controls in the building and all were working properly with cool air.

Checked the lights in the attic and found no burnt bulbs.

Touched up the corner with paint in the hallway and a few other area as needed.

FBJ29738 Repaired and painted the wall after treatment of termites. (completed)
