03.03.11 Mars Hill and Dallas

On Thursday I went to Mars Hill and Dallas to do the following work orders and maintenance in the buildings.

In Mars Hill a rod came off the high light in the chapel and I had to get the giant ladder to replace the rod back into the light.

In the Dallas building I had to remove the fire extinguisher off the wall and had to install it to the wall next to the chalk board in the serving area. I had to patch and paint the holes in the wall where the fire extinguisher was removed.

The clock in one of the classrooms was not working and I put a new battery in it and reset it to the proper time.

Checked the changing tables and they are good and tight on the wall, no problems.

Checked the plumbing in the men's restroom, no leaks were found and all is working good.

Checked the plumbing in the women's restroom and all is working good, no leaks were found.

I checked and cleaned the fans in the women and men's restrooms. I had to lubricate the barrens on the motors and now the women's sounds much better. But the men's fan motor has a vibration sound like the barren is going bad in the motor. It may last a little while longer, time will tell.

The coil for the water cooler needed to be cleaned by removing the lent off the coil, so it can get colder water from the fountain.

Touched up paint in the hall ways, serving area and a couple of classrooms that had scratches on the wall.

Checked all lights through out the building and all are working properly.

Checked and lubricated the pulpit control and checked the fuse, satellite and sound system and all are working and sound good.

Checked the thermostat controls in the building and all are working good with heat. Checked the unit in the attic and it sounds good and working properly.

The piano bench legs were very loose and I had to tighten the screws and the bolts on all four of the legs in the primary room.

Worked 8 hours
