07.19.11 Mars Hill

On Tuesday I went to Mars Hill to do the following work orders and maintenance in the building.

FBJ31775 I had to disconnect the power wires, brackets and remove the exhaust fan motor from the men's restrooms to bring it with me to get another one. I went to a few places, Home Depot, Lowe's and Grainger. The salesman at Grainger took the motor in the back to check it out and he said something was jammed in the bushing and he cleaned and oiled it real good.
Now it is working good again. A new one did not need to be purchased and there was no charge from Grainger.
I had to put it all back together and install it back into the ceiling in the restroom. (completed)

I checked the baby changing tables and tightened the screws to the wall as needed for them to be secure.

I checked the plumbing in the women's and men's restrooms and no leaks were found. Everything was working properly.

The lights in the chapel and cultural hall were all lit up and no burnt bulbs were found.

I lubricated the pulpit control and checked the fuse, satellite and sound system and they sound good.

FBJ31788 I touched up the discolored woodwork on the backside of the rostrum where the bishop sits and other areas as needed. The next time I go there I will check to see if it may need to be touched up again later. (completed)

The kitchen appliances were working properly and I checked the plumbing and found no leaks.
