08.22.11 Cartersville

On Monday Mike Thigpen and I went to Cartersville to do the following work orders and maintenance work in the building.

I noticed in the cultural hall the cover to the vent on the wall had fell out. I had to make a clip to put it back together on the wall for it to stay in place.

FBJ32547 The carpet base was coming off the wall, in a couple of different areas in the cultural hall and the ward clerk's office, so we pulled the baseboard off and put new glue and re-nailed the carpet back onto to wall. (completed)

There was a couple of cracks on the ceiling in the chapel and we patched it. We had to use the giant ladder to be able to reach the ceiling to repair it.

FBJ32179 We checked the thermostat control and the A/C in the two classrooms and the library and they are working properly blowing cold air, that Mike had repaired. He said he had to change out the coils in the upstairs A/C. (completed)

We had to use the ladder to paint the walls in room 110. We had to run tape around the door and window frames, caulk board and around the wood trim before painting. Mike said he will take the tape off in the morning.

One of the vacuum cleaners was clogged up with lent, so we had to get a screw driver and clear the airway through for it to have a proper suction. The other vacuums are working good.

The outlet cover was cracked and we replaced it with a new one by the bishop's office in the hall way.

I completed the Safety and Health Inspection form for Cartersville.

We tested all the outside lights and they are working properly.

The lights are all working properly in the chapel and cultural hall.

Lubricated the pulpit control and checked the fuse, satellite system and sound system and they are working good.

FBJ32548 The A/C had been repaired by Mike Stephens in the chapel and overflow. (completed)

Worked 8 hours,

Jeff
