02.28.11 Mars Hill

On Monday I went to Mars Hill to do the preparation for the Stake Conference on March 5th and 6th.

FBJ29449 Stake Conference Preparation:
On the backside of the building the soffit medal strip was hanging down and I had to repair it by screwing it back into the studs.

I adjusted the outside light on the back side of the building to shine out, instead of it shining down on the building.

Checked the thermostat controls and they were all working with heat.

Looked and listened to the indoor and outside units for any abnormal condition and they sounded good.

Checked the lights in the chapel rostrum, cultural hall and all other rooms in the building and all are working properly.

Checked and lubricated the pulpit control and checked the fuse, satellite and sound system all is working good.

Checked all the clocks on the wall and had to reset a couple and all others were set to the proper time.

Looked at the fire alarm control and the reading on the system checked normal.

The 2 foot light by room 103 was out and I had to change the ballast and the bulb.

Checked the outside parking lot lights with the photocell and they all were working good.

Did a walk outside and the grass was mowed, edges, trees and shrubs all looked trimmed and neat.

The sprinkler head timers are off at this time and they look in good condition.

The ventilation fan in the men's restroom was making noise, so I took the cover off and lubricated the barrens and it sounds better.

Checked the vacuum cleaners and lubricated them and they are working good.

I lifted both basketball goals up and down with the switch and they are working properly.

There was a 4 foot florescent bulb that was burnt in the high light in the cultural hall that I had to replace with a new one.

Worked 8 hours
