02.02.12 Cartersville and Calhoun

On Wednesday I went to Cartersville and Calhoun to help Mike do the following maintenance in the buildings.

In Catersville in the cultural hall I was checking the lights and I noticed there was a volley ball on top of one of the lights that I was going to get down and I looked to the right there was a trail of ants. So went to the custodian closet to get some ant spray to poison the ants.

I had to change six of the 4 ft florescent bulbs that were burnt on the side lights in the cultural hall. I also had to replace one of the ballast that was bad.

I checked the lights in the attic and had to replace one ballast that was bad and two 4ft florescent bulbs that was burnt.

I checked the vacuum cleaners in the Cartersville building. The wide isle vacuum's filters were clogged up. So, I had put 2 new filters and changed the vacuum bag. I also cleaned the filters and changed the bags in the other two small vacuum cleaners. Now they are all working properly with good suction.

In the Calhoun building we changed one of the power pack ballast. But more work needs to be done on it.

In the hallways and classrooms in the Calhoun building I changed out several of the bulbs that didn't match to the correct matching bulbs in the lights.
