I pulled the lock off of one of the other font door to get them ready to be replaced with a new lock.
I cleaned the lights through out the building, in the classrooms, chapel, cultural hall and hallways. I had to use a step stool to reach the lights. I had to take the lens down and clean the bugs out and wipe it down with glass cleaner and a rag, then put the lens back on.
I adjusted the strike plate on the door on the side of the church for it to shut tight and properly. All other exterior doors were shutting good.
I cleaned all the scuff marks off the doors on both sides of the entrance with oven cleaner. That was the only thing that would remove the marks.
The rubber trim on the throw rugs in the front entrance of the foyer were tearing. I was asked to cut the rubber parts that were tearing off around the rugs.
I checked the legs of the classroom tables through out the building and a few were loose, so I had to tighten the screws for them to be secured to the bottom of the table.
A few doors had tape stuck on them, so I peeled the tape off and clean the glue off with goof off. I also sprayed the interior door hinges with WD40 throughout the building to stop the doors from squeaking.
I touched up some wood work with stain on the doors, base boards and the corners of a couple of tables as needed throughout the building that had chips and scratches on them.
Worked 8 hours,
Jeff
