02.08.12 Buchanan

On Wednesday I went to Buchanan to do the following painting in the hallways of the building.

I put mats along the floor of the hallways before I started to paint to protect the carpet and had to use the ladder in a few areas to touch up trim as needed.

There was 2 areas on the corners and one by the stairway going up to the attic that I had to re-mud. After it was dry I had to sand it and wipe it down clean and then vacuum the dust off the mats.

There was a lot of hand prints on the chrome of the drop down steps that goes upstairs, so I cleaned it with chrome cleaner.

In the hallways I used the roller to paint around the lights, exit signs, vents, receptacle covers and walls to complete all areas that needed to be painted.
