02.06.12 Buchanan

On Monday I went to Buchanan to do the following maintenance work in the building.

In the hallways I had to touch up with joint compound in several spots on the ceiling that had cracks and chips. The mud has to dry before I can sand it tomorrow. I will also have to re-mud over the same area and let it dry before I can paint it.

I had to change a bad cylinder on the door on the left side of the chapel, it was leaking oil and had a cracker cover. The lock wasn't lacking properly on the handle. I had to take it apart and I found a screw that was jamming the handle not allowing it to open, I repaired it and put it back together, now it is opening and shutting good. All other doors that had a cylinder needed to be adjusted for them to not slam shut and now they are closing slower.

I checked the won door and it was opening and closing properly and the handles were good and tight.

The chapel and cultural hall lights are all good, no burnt bulbs were found.

Took a picture of the cabinet for Jon to see how the other cabinet will fit inside of it.

I was trimming the corners with a paint brush in the hallway to get it ready to use the roller to paint it tomorrow.

worked 8 hours,

Jeff
