02.24.12 Acworth

On Friday I went to Acworth to do the following work around the building.

I removed the outside parking lot signs around the building to clean the signs and the poles that had rust on them. I cleaned the signs with the heavy duty cleaner spray bottle. I used a wire brush and sand block to clean the rust off the poles. Then I had to use a rag with paint thinner to clean the poles before I could paint them with the bronze paint. After the paint dried I had to put the signs back up on the poles with new stainless steal hardware. All signs are completed.

I had to install the correct insulation for the AC unit lines. I had to use the bolt cutter to cut the clamps off to take all the old insulation off the AC lines. I had to sand the racks down with a grinder and wipe them down to clean the residue off, then I painted the racks. Then I installed the new insulation on the lines and reclamp the lines back on the racks. I put the old insulation in a plastic bag and threw it away in the dumpster.

The batteries were dead in the emergency lights in the cultural hall and I replaced them with new ones. I put it back together and tested it and it is working properly.

Worked 8 hours,
