02.23.12 Acworth

On Thursday I went to Acworth to do the following maintenance work in and around the building.

I did some touch up stain on a few doors and baseboards that had chips and scratches on them.

Mike and I checked the emergency lights through out the church. The two emergency lights in the cultural hall need new batteries, all other lights are good.

I had to remove the outside parking lot signs around the building to clean the signs and the poles that had rust on them. I cleaned the signs with the heavy duty cleaner spray bottle. I used a wire brush and sand block to clean the rust off the poles. Then I had to use a rag with paint thinner to clean the poles before I could paint them with the bronze paint. After the paint dried I had to put the signs back up on the poles with new stainless steal hardware.
