01.11.12 Carrollton

On Wednesday I went to Carrollton to do the following maintenance work in the building.

I noticed there was a couple of lights out in the hallway and I had to change the ballast and now they are working good.

Jon is ordering a new lock with a key for the clerk's office door. The door was not shutting, so I had to take the strike plate off and file it down to make it shut properly.

I tested all the outlets through out the building and they are all working good.

A door stop was busted and I replaced it with a new one on the east side of the entrance door.

I checked all the exterior doors and had to adjust the strike plates as needed for them to shut properly. I also lubricated all the hinges of the doors.

The door handle in the men's restroom was real loose and I had to repair it by putting two longer screws to tighten it back up.

I checked the vacuum cleaners and they all have a good suction and are working properly.

Jon called to ask me to check all the toilets to see if any were leaking. I did not find any problems with any of them and no leaks were found.

All the lights in the chapel and cultural hall were working properly, no burnt bulbs were found.

I noticed one of the hymn book holders needed to be repaired. I had to tighten the screws on the book hymn holder and put it back on.

I noticed six of the AC units had the coils striped out of them on the east side of the building. I called Jon to let him know about it.

Worked 8 hours,

Jeff
